VP - Finance & Business Management

Trust Accounting Manager
Vacasa
2017-2019
Prior to its acquisition by Casago, LLC, Vacasa was a leading, PE-backed vacation rental management organization focused on extra-mile service to both property owners and guests. As Vacasa worked to expand its geographical reach and encountered the challenge of accounting for guest deposits for stays in US states with regulations governing funds held in trust for vacation rentals, Andrew built out the processes and controls to effectively track, monitor, and move funds to owner and company accounts, converting millions of dollars of restricted cash to operating funds.
Manager - Corporate Accounting
Senior Analyst - Investment Accounting
General Motors - GM Asset Management
While at GM, Andrew helped bring financial reporting for a $100B+ portfolio of investments into a new age, providing both a simplified structure on which to report asset values and qualitative disclosures, but delivering an elevated degree of visibility and auditability as well. In addition, Andrew and his team took a different approach to investment management accruals resulting in a higher degree of automation and accuracy in the calculation of fee accruals, resulting in an even tighter close and consolidation timeline with Corporate.
